Summary:

This release of OrgPlus is version 9.1. This is a minor release.

Enhancements/ Resolved Issues:

  • Rebranded product artwork and iconography
  • OrgPlus Plug-in is now compatible with Internet Explorer 9.
  • Command line parameters MINIMIZERIBBON and CLOSEPANELS have been added to the installer. When these values are present and set to True in the installer command line, the ribbons in the application are minimized and the panels are closed when running the application for the first time.

Enhancements/Resolved Issues:

  • Ability to upload a background image for the title page when publishing to PDF.
  • Ability to independently control the Header, Body, and Footer sections of the title page when publishing to PDF.
  • Improved registration when using a firewall or proxy server.
  • Performance and stability improvements.

Summary:

This release of OrgPlus is version 9.0. This release includes new features in addition to usability enhancements and resolved issues.

Enhancements/Resolved Issues:

  • Certification for use with Windows 7
  • Improved user interface including a
    • Introduction of a new Template type called View templates that allow users to switch the layout of their charts. Users can now easily see metrics based on headcount, span of control, and more.
    • Introduction of Predefined Reports which users can run without having to create their own reports. Just click on Manage Reports and then the Predefined button to add reports based on Department, Location, Performance, and more.
    • Smart Fields, a new type of conditional format that allow you to specify multiple conditions for one field. The formatting for Smart Fields is at the field level, so it won't interfere with your box formatting. Also makes it easy to add symbols to your chart. OrgPlus 9.0 ships with a new Symbols Library as well.
    • Improved Import Wizard. Manage orphans, specify sub-chart rules, map Predefined Fields, and choose a Design template during the initial data import.
  • Ability to specify Position & Reports to at Command Line. Users can now specifically identify which fields should be used for the Position and Reports To parameters when using the Command Line interface.
  • Addressed minor issues when publishing to HTML and PDF formats.
