How do I add employee photos to my chart?

Adding photos to your chart is a four-step process. See below for guidance.

Photo Information:

  • Add Column to Data Sheet & Upload sheet to application
  • Upload Photos to application
  • Map Correct field in application
  • Add Photo column (Field) to Views

It’s recommended to name your photos with the employee first and last name or Employee ID.

  • Acceptable file formats are .png, .jpg, .bmp, and .jpeg.
  • File size suggestion: 80×100 Pixel
  • Save photos to accessible location.
  1. Add Column to Data Sheet & Upload sheet to application
    1. Update your data source –
      1. Open your Data Sheet
      2. Add the photo names to the respective employees under “Photo” column.
      3. Photo assigned in the photo location should match what is on your data sheet. File extensions must be included in photo name.
      4. Save file
    2. Upload your updated data source into the application. See updating employee data for more details.
      1. Click Administration
      2. Click Update Employee Data
      3. Browse to data location> Select DataSheet
      4. Click Open
  2. Upload photos to the application:
    1. Click Administration
    2. Click Upload photos icon
    3. Click Browse
    4. Click Open
    5. Click SAVE
  3. Map Correct field in application
    1. Click Administration
    2. Click Fields
    3. Click Hierarchy & Special Fields
    4. Map Employee Photo to the Photo field column in your datasheet
    5. Press OK
  4. Add Photo column (Field) to Views
    1. Click Administrator
    2. Click Views > Select from the available view list
    3. Click Box Types
    4. Hover over desired box and click EDIT
    5. Click ADD DATA
    6. Select Field
    7. Select Photo from the fields list
    8. Click ADD

Photos should now populate in the workspace
