OrgPlus RealTime Professional keeps getting better.

Here are the latest features and updates.

Release 4 – March 21, 2017

  • Workforce Planning: Significant usability enhancement to reduce the number of mouse clicks when performing these operations: dragging/dropping, cutting/pasting, adding/deleting, and editing employee boxes.
  • Workforce Planning: Added the ability to select multiple employees in the orphan panel to improve usability, especially when managing employees from multiple sources during a merger or acquisition.
  • Workforce Planning: Enhanced the email received when a user shares a plan with another team member. Added the user’s email who shared the plan, and the sign in link will take the user to the single sign-on page (SSO) when customers use SSO to access the application.
  • View Management: Users who have the appropriate role to Edit Views will discover a time-saving enhancement. When selecting a View in the chart workspace you will see an Edit link next to the title of each View. The Edit link will quickly navigate you into the Administration section where you can Edit the fields and formulas for that View.

Release 3 – February 16, 2017

  • Authentication: The application will not allow passwords that contain sequences or repeated characters (examples: 1234567, 3333333, abcdefgh, qwerty, etc.), or  common passwords (example: password, changeme, admin, etc.). The application will always force new users to reset their password when they first sign in.
  • Control Panel: Added a scroll bar to help users navigate a long list of filters.
  • Sign-in Page: Redesigned the sign-in page. Enhanced the validation and messaging.

  • Sharing plans: Plan owners can choose to keep the existing branch styles when sharing a plan with another team member. Select the desired plan and click Properties. Click the checkbox for “Lock branch styles”.  The branch styles associated with this plan will be locked ensuring a consistent appearance for all users accessing this plan.

  • Chart Formatting: Enhanced the box list branch style so that users can add helpful text that reflects the employees in the list. For example, if a manager wants to group his/her entire team into a single box the manager can add “Sales Team”, “Seasonal Employees”, “Contractors”, etc. to clearly communicate the team members in the box.
  • Managing Users: Added the ability to search for users by email address.
  • Search: Additional enhancements to improve the quality of the search results when searching for an individual employee in the org chart, and when searching for multiple employees in the lower workspace that share the same last name, title, location etc.

  • Branch styles: Added four new branch styles to help you format your chart and maximize space in the application, and when publishing charts. The new branch styles include: 6 column, 6 column tree, 8 column, and 8 column tree.

  • Directory User: The Directory User is a new and “optional” user type for customers that have single sign-on (SSO) included in their subscription. All employees can conveniently access the application directly to see an org chart showing limited employee information typically found in an Employee Directory.   • Updating Data: Added a progress bar to improve usability when updating your workforce or non-workforce data. Example: Updating your employee data from a file or adding/editing fields.
