We respect your privacy. We have created this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to demonstrate our firm commitment to online privacy. This Web site is owned and operated by Insperity Business Services, L.P. This Privacy Policy discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices of Insperity Performance and Organizational Management, a division of Insperity Business Services, L.P. (“Insperity” or “we”) for OrgPlus and OrgPlus RealTime products and Web services (“OrgPlus”). This Privacy Policy applies to all information that you provide to Insperity through your use of OrgPlus and that Insperity maintains electronically. Additionally, this Privacy Policy applies to any personally identifiable information (PII) obtained from your use of the OrgPlus Web site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that you may provide to third parties; for example, other sites linked to the OrgPlus Web site. You should contact such third parties directly to determine their respective privacy policies.

What information does Insperity collect for OrgPlus?

Insperity collects PII such as:

  • your name, your phone number and address (street and e-mail)
  • username and password
  • age, marital status and occupation
  • job title, employment status and job history
  • company size, revenue, type, and industry codes (SIC and NAIC)
  • company name, phone number, physical address and URL
  • email preferences
  • purchase history
  • affiliation purchases (lead outs by user)
  • interest or hobbies

When we collect PII from you, it is because you voluntarily submit the information to us in order to participate in activities such as subscriptions, purchases, registrations, surveys, bulletin boards, blogs, request for products or services, or other means available on the OrgPlus Web site.

We may also obtain PII from affiliates or third parties. We sometimes also collect PII from off-line methods such as post-cards, sponsored contest or emails. Regardless of how the PII is obtained its use shall be governed by the then current OrgPlus Privacy Policy.

Insperity collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly. We may transfer personal information among related companies of Insperity or to third party companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent unrelated third parties to Insperity, which are service providers to our Clients, are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.

Additionally, Insperity collects the following Non-Personally Identifiable Information:

  • IP Address.

    IP addresses are numbers that are automatically assigned to your computer, and, if associated with other individually identifiable information, could be considered PII. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer and improve the OrgPlus Web site. Your IP address is also used to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information, some of which we aggregate and then share with our strategic alliances or potential strategic alliances companies. We also use your IP address to keep track of the information you have seen on our site.

  • Site Access.

    We may also collect the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (e.g.,; the date and time you access the OrgPlus Web site; and the Internet address of any Web site from which you link directly to the OrgPlus Web site; as well as collecting and storing other information in a user’s log file. A user’s log file tells OrgPlus where a user comes from when entering the OrgPlus Web site; which part of the OrgPlus Web site the user visits as well as where the user goes when leaving the OrgPlus Web site; and how much time the user spends in the OrgPlus Web site. We do not link this automatically collected data to other information we collect about you.

  • Tracking technologies.

    Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by Insperity and our strategic alliance or marketing partners , affiliates, or analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

    We use cookies for our shopping cart, to remember users’ settings (e.g. language preference), to personalize users’ interface, to identify users of the site as OrgPlus users, and to enable the pre-population or automatic fill of forms and schedules. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some features or areas of our site may be limited.

    We may use Local Storage Objects (LSOs) such as HTML5 to store content and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity may use LSOs such as HTML5 to collect and store information.

    Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.

What is this information used for?

Among other things, we use this information to provide you with the services available on OrgPlus and to create or enhance our relationship with you.

We also use your information for other things which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Emails

    Insperity uses your PII to communicate with you in the course of your relationship. Insperity will send emails from time to time regarding services offered or industry-related news or information

  • Special Offers

    We may also contact you to tell you about products and services provided by Insperity strategic alliances and other third-party organizations. If you do not wish to receive e-mail communications from OrgPlus regarding strategic alliance offers or other third-party products and services, you may opt out of receiving such communications by following the procedure set forth in such e-mail. E-mail communications from third parties should have their own procedures for opting out. Opting out of third party communications will not effect communications sent directly by OrgPlus.

  • Pre-populated Forms

    Some information will be used to pre-populate forms for use on the OrgPlus Web site or when submitting information to third parties.

  • Behavioral targeting/Re-targeting

    We may partner with a third party to either display advertising on our Web site or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third party partner may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities on this site and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by clicking here (or if located in the european union click here) please note this does not opt you out of being served ads. you will continue to receive generic ads.

With whom is this information shared?

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Insperity shares PII only as described below:

  • Affiliated Companies and Third-Party Contractors.

    We may share your information among related companies of Insperity. Third parties, with whom we have contracted to provide certain OrgPlus products or services, will also have access to your PII and non-PII. In addition, we may from time to time transfer our database of PII to third-party contractors who analyze such information on behalf of Insperity for the purpose of, among other things, targeting e-mails to users regarding strategic alliance offers, or who mail marketing materials to users regarding strategic alliance offers. Additionally, we may from time to time transfer certain PII such as credit card and billing information to a third-party contractor who provides payment processing services on behalf of OrgPlus. Such third-party contractors are contractually bound to hold all such information in confidence and in compliance with this Privacy Policy. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Privacy Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our customers.

  • Compliance with Law and Protection of OrgPlus and Others.

    Insperity will also provide PII to third parties if compelled to do so by an appropriately empowered governmental or legal authority, or, as necessary, to protect Insperity’s rights or the rights of third parties.

  • Strategic Alliances.

    Insperity has entered into marketing agreements, strategic alliances and other relationships with third-party organizations that may offer or provide products and services to you, sometimes under discounted or preferential terms. We sometimes agree to give these third parties (including potential parties to strategic alliances), PII about our users. If you initiate an inquiry with respect to a third party’s product or service by clicking on the icon or link relating to such product or service on the OrgPlus Web site, we may also furnish such third party with certain PII for the purpose of, among other things, pre-populating forms or facilitating the exchange of information between you and the third party.

  • Business Transfers.

    As Insperity and its affiliated companies continue to develop its businesses, it may sell various aspects of its business. If Insperity sells a portion of its business it will transfer all PII associated with that business as part of such a sale. Also, in the unlikely event that Insperity or substantially all of its assets are acquired, the PII will be one of the transferred assets. You will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

What access do you have to information you provide?

You have access to much of your PII through the OrgPlus Web site, where you can view, update and delete most of the PII we maintain by making the change on our member information page.

Insperity has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Insperity Client (the data controller). If the Client requests Insperity to remove or amend the data in response to a user’s query, Insperity will respond to the Client request within 30 days.

Security measures

Insperity makes access to your PII subject to certain security measures, including technological controls such as “firewalls”, in accordance with industry standards. When the use of the OrgPlus Web site involves the transmission of confidential information about you or Insperity (such as the Log in credentials), we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to establish a secure connection between your PC and our server. SSL allows the transmission of encrypted information from your PC to our server and back again and is the industry standard for Internet platform security. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so while Insperity strives to protect your PII, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to Insperity for the OrgPlus service.

Disclaimer of responsibility for privacy policy and content at linked sites

The OrgPlus Web site may provide you with links to other web sites. We are not responsible for those sites and cannot control the use of information that you submit once you reach those sites, nor can we control the content of what is offered on those sites or on links from those sites. You should contact such third-party web sites directly to determine their privacy policies.

Use of information from third parties

We may use information about you provided to us by third parties (such as credit reporting agencies or strategic alliances) in order to offer you their services and products, to improve our own services, or to evaluate your eligibility for our services.

This is not a children’s Web site

Insperity does not knowingly solicit data from children, and we do not knowingly market to children.

Applicable only to U.S. residents

The OrgPlus Web site is designed for and intended only for use in the United States and those who are U.S. citizens or are residents of the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, you are not authorized to access the OrgPlus Web site.


The OrgPlus Web site may make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any PII. To request removal of your PII from our blog or community form, contact us at the email address listed below. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your PII, in which case, we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Data retention

We will retain your information and the data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as the Client’s account is active and non-delinquent or as needed to provide Client services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Social media features and widgets

Our Web site includes social media features (“Features”), such as the LinkedIn® web site button and widgets such as the “share this” button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Web site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Web site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly, Features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

TRUSTe Certification and EU Safe Harbor Principles

Insperity has been awarded TRUSTe’s Privacy Seal signifying that this OrgPlus Privacy Policy and practices have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with TRUSTe’s program requirements and the TRUSTed Cloud Program Requirements including transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your PII. The TRUSTe program does not cover information that may be collected through downloadable software. The TRUSTe program covers information that is collected through these Web sites:, and our service platform. TRUSTe’s mission, as an independent third party, is to accelerate online trust among consumers and organizations globally through its leading privacy trustmark and innovative trust solutions. Insperity has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access and enforcement for the OrgPlus service. California residents – your privacy rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who provide PII in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the PII (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of PII that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to the address provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the Section 1798.83 requirements, and only information on covered sharing for California customers will be included in our response.

Changes in these policies and practices

This Privacy was last updated on April 20, 2015. We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this Site prior to the change becoming effective. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor such updates.
