PerformSmart keeps getting better. Here are the latest updates and features.
Release 4 – March 23, 2018
Goals: Power User can edit a goal assigned to multiple employees and the changes will be applied to all employees within that company.
Release 3 – March 9, 2018
Goals: Managers can edit a goal assigned to multiple employees and the changes will be applied to all employees. Additional employees can also be added to the existing group of employees that share the same goal. This is a significant time savings when updating team, department, and company goals.
Reviews: Appraisers now have the ability to hide/unhide the employee’s rating in the review list when the appraiser has completed their appraisal. Appraisers can quickly see the employee’s rating for multiple review periods without opening each individual review.
Performance Notes: Enhanced the usability for privacy options. When appraisers add/edit a performance note for their team members the Private checkbox has been replaced with two selections for sharing: Only Me and Employee + Me. A Shared With column shows the selection when viewing a list of notes.
Goals: Restyled the Goals list page to match Insperity Premier™ HCM.
Release 2 – February 2, 2018
Performance Notes: Log Events is now Performance Notes! Performance Notes make it easier for you to write quick notes about yourself and your team’s accomplishments throughout the year. The new design improves usability, discoverability, and performance.
Employee Reviews: The Post Review Feedback completion date was added to the footer on the printed or PDF version of all reviews.
Employee Management: Power users can no longer add/edit Social Security Numbers. The Data Import Wizard will ignore Social Security Numbers in your file. All existing Social Security Numbers will be deleted.
Release 1 – January 9, 2018
Email requirement: Removed the requirement to enter a valid email when adding an employee to PerformSmart on the Employee page or via a data import.

Review Periods: Added the ability to copy an existing review period. This feature allows administrators to quickly and easily reuse the settings from a previous review period thus saving time.
Subscription: The Employee Self Service and Performance Management checkboxes are checked by default to save time when adding users.
Bulk Print: Redesigned the Bulk Print and Reports pages for improved usability and consistent styling with Insperity Premier™ HCM.
Home Page: Added the ability to delete notifications.
Release 8 – October 10, 2017
Navigation: Enhanced how users navigate around the application to improve usability and to match the modern look and feel associated with the Insperity Premier® HCM platform. We also updated the labels for consistency and ease of use.

Home Page: Our new home page provides a fresh new look and a better user experience for employees, supervisors, HR Managers, and Power Users:
New colors, bolder fonts, improved layout
Employees can now conveniently add goals and enter log events from home page
Supervisors/Employees can easily identify review states and access reviews
PerformSmart maintenance alert will now appear in the notification section
Power Users will now access Subscription functionality from the PerformSmart tabs.
Release 4 – June 7, 2017
Employees: Power Users and HR Managers now have the ability to edit the employee ID directly in the application.
Administration: Power Users now have the ability to establish a stronger password policy in the Authentication section.
Release 3 – April 19, 2017
PerformSmart users accessing the application from the Insperity employee service center (ESC) will see an improved user experience. The application will open in the same browser tab, and within the ESC navigation header providing a more seamless experience.
Release 2 – February 24, 2017
Performance Review List: We improved the usability of the review list by modifying the “All Active Reviews” selection within the “Review Status” filter to return completed reviews. Going forward, the only reviews that will not be returned with the “All Active Reviews” filter are those in a closed status.
Employees: We enhanced the Employee function to allow for the future termination of an employee. Simply enter a termination date in the employee record and leave the status in the current state (either active or inactive). The status of the employee will automatically update to “terminated” during nightly processing on the appropriate day.
Our new PerformSmart Reset Password page provides a fresh new look and a better user experience for users, featuring new colors, bolder fonts, and an improved layout.

Performance Review List: We improved the usability of the review list by modifying the sort of the page so the most recent reviews show up at the top of the list.
Reports: The Employee Detail Report now includes the Organization Level associated with an employee.
