Hello,

I am trying to import the data containing the organisational details using the "import" option. When I do this its showing an error. I have the data in an excel format as close as possible to the sample excel sheet that is used as an example. Only the data is more.

Please help resolve.

I was able to import the Excel file with no issues. Which build of OrgPlus 7 are you on? You can check this by choosing Help | About OrgPlus 7. If you have a lower build than 640 then you can download from the link below. If you are already on build 640 or the upgrade doesn't resolve the issue then let me know and we can schedule a meeting to take a look at this.

Hi Scott,

Sorry for taking a week to respond to you. Actually I'm using the online version of orgplus. Since I do not work with MsOffice, I can't use the desktop version even though I have downloaded it. I'm using open office. Is it compatible?

I tried using a different browser but I'm still having trouble. the error message is the same.

Please help resolve.

Thank you for contacting the OrgPlus Support Team.

I apologize for the delay. In order to import Excel files into OrgPlus you would need to have MSOffice installed on that machine. We currently support the 2000,2003 and 2007 versions.

OrgPlus Online does not require MSOffice unless you are importing a file created in an office application. In order to import the file created in Open Office you will need to perform a Copy | Paste Special into a new Excel file in MSOffice, then choose 'values' as the paste option. This will allow you to correctly import that data source.
