Printing multiple sub charts on one page
« on: July 28, 2009, 06:44:07 AM »

Hi Gang,

Does anyone know of a way to print multiple sub charts on one page?  Most of my sub charts only have a few boxes making the printed pages look quite bare.

Thanks,
Steve.

Steve,

Creating a sub-chart causes OrgPlus to split the chart at that page.  If there are only a few subordinates at that level, the page will look quite bare.  There is currently not a way to place two sub-charts on the same page. My suggestion to you would be to, if at all possible, remove that sub-chart break and keep those boxes on the preceding page. Right Click | Remove Sub-Chart Break.

Regards,

I'm very new to this program, but this would be a great feature for a future release. I have been asked to show our entire organization (minus line level staff) all on one page for a reorganization effort. If there is a way to do it now, I would love to know the method. I went to all the subcharts and created subchart breaks at the supervisor levels. Then went up one level and removed the subchart breaks (reconnecting the divisions/sections to our main page). This way, I can show the sections and divisions without all the staff. What an effort. I would love to see a feature to show the organization combined on one page.
